Cary Park District Seeks Community Input for Future Planning
February 06, 2025Cary, IL: Cary Park District residents are encouraged to attend the Comprehensive Master Plan Community Input Meeting on February 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Rd., Cary.
The Park District is updating its Comprehensive Master Plan. This critical plan provides a strategic vison and guides the Park Board of Commissioners and staff in developing and enhancing parks, facilities, programs, and services over the next 10 years. Information on the Comprehensive Master Plan can be found at cpdplanning.com.
"Community input is essential for the success of developing a resident-driven plan that will reflect the evolving priorities and needs of the community," says Keith Frangiamore, Park Board of Commissioners President. The first engagement opportunity will be held on February 20. Additional input opportunities include a statistically ensure the plan reflects residents’ priorities. Additional opportunities for feedback include a statistically valid survey sent to households randomly selected by a third-party consultant who is conducting the survey. A community-wide online survey will be available mid-February.

- Hoffman Park trail extension
- Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center
- Dedicated preschool facility
- 6 playground replacements
- Sands E. Main Street Prairie Vegetation Enhancement & Management Plan
