Mercyhealth to hold blood drives with Rock River Valley Blood Center
MCHENRY, Illinois—Mercyhealth will welcome the Rock River Valley Blood Center to several
Mercyhealth locations for blood drives in December.
 Monday, December 15, 1-6 pm, Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard, 901 Grant
St.
 Tuesday, December 16, 10 am-2 pm, Mercyhealth Woodstock, 200 Lake Ave.
 Friday, December 19, 10 am-2 pm, Mercyhealth Hospital and Physician Clinic–Crystal Lake,
875 S. Route 31.
One blood donation can save up to three lives. Eligible donors must be in good health, at least 17
years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Sixteen-year-olds may donate with parental consent. Each
donor can give blood every 56 days.
The actual donation takes approximately 10 minutes, while the whole process, from check in to
completion, takes approximately one hour.
