Jennifer started working for us in 2001 as our Office Manager. In 2003 she expanded her role and also became our Individual & Commercial Health Insurance Agent. In 2007 Jennifer expanded her insurance portfolio to include Home & Auto Insurance, but her primary focus is Individual & Commercial Health, Vision, Dental and Travel Insurance.

Jennifer grew up in the Elgin & Elk Grove area, then moved to the Cary area in 1998 where she met her husband. They have since stayed in Cary and are raising their two children.

Cheryl Smith, Paul Smith’s wife, has been with the firm since its’ inception. She oversees many of the internal operations and is in charge of administration.

Cheryl has lived in the Chicagoland area all her life and is very proud of her immediate family and grandchildren.

Paul started in the financial services industry in November of 1990. For several years he worked with a large international insurance and financial services company until January 1st, 1996, when he decided to go into independent practice. This approach would allow him much more flexibility to serve his clients by allowing him the ability to search options from many different companies, and to be able to recommend solutions based upon an individual’s or family’s needs.

Paul has been married for over 30 years and has resided in the Chicago suburbs since 1963. He enjoys spending time helping people solve complicated financial matters. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family.

Joanna joined Smith & Associates in March of 2006 assisting in our Clerical Department. She wanted to do something more challenging so she obtained her Auto Insurance license in  November 2007, then adding Home Insurance in January 2008. Joanna has now taken over our Home & Auto Division.

Joanna grew up in the Cary area, then moved to the Algonquin area in 2002 where she met her husband. They have since then relocated to the Woodstock area and are raising their two dogs.
